My name is Amy.  Welcome to my website! I am a New York-based registered dietitian and nutritionist, nutrition writer, educator, photographer and healthy living enthusiast.  I am a recipe and content developer and digital influencer of plant-based, gluten-free whole foods.  I also currently work at a one of the largest teaching hospitals in New York City as a clinical dietitian in adult acute care.  

I received a bachelor of art degree in journalism from Miami University of Ohio and a masters of science degree in clinical nutrition from New York University.  I completed my dietetic training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in affiliation with NYU.

I have contributed chapters for textbooks including The Health Professional’s Guide to Gastrointestinal Nutrition (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics), Bioactive Food as Interventions for Arthritis and Related Inflammatory Diseases (Elsevier Limited) and Encyclopedia of Human Nutrition (Elsevier Limited).

I am a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and various dietetic practice groups including Hunger and Environmental Nutrition (HEN), Dietitians in Business and Communications Dietary Practice Group and Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine.
